Thank you to all who participated, judged, and otherwise volunteered for the 2018 San Diego Book Awards. We appreciate your time, talent, and tenacity. Even though there was no contest for published books this year, we still had a marvelous unpublished competition. In fact, the Board of Directors would like to take a moment and recognize one of this year’s entrants. At ten years of age, he won our hearts with his contest entry. While he did not become a finalist, we want to recognize his efforts
